ideas / referrals / locations
We will be working together, and THANK YOU for choosing my services to photograph one of your most important days. I am honored & I know it'll be a smashing success with tons of love (champagne?) and everything to make your day special.
9/10 of my clients: such as yourselves, are from out of the country. Its a harder process (and a trusting one) when you have to coordinate everything by online viewing, hoping that maybe Google can find exactly what you're looking for. SO, I have put together the exact things I get questions to, all the time.
refferals: hair, makeup
Hair stylist Ashley
She's my gal! A creative Session Stylist who also adores being the one to make our brides feel at ease, comfortable, and while the way making you look exactly how you see fit. Not only do I love Ashley's effortless work (and her name.) I love how she makes you feel like you're hanging out with a bestie.
makeup artist Briseida
The one makeup artist I would trust to put makeup on myself for any occasion. Briseida is a natural when it comes to makeup, she's a constant work horse and always on time. I love her simplicity, her blend of colors and she makes you feel amazing no matter if you're looking for winged eyeliner, or no eyeliner and just blush.
Of course, location-location-location. But you know, it really makes a huge difference on what you want your overall 'style' to be and what speaks to you most about who the two of you are. Picking a location out of someone else's photos is a great tool, but figuring out the details on how it got to be that image: is all the details.
Locations not listed that are on my list to shoot at: Nelson's Landing Lake, Valley of Fire, Mount Charleston,
joshua tree highway
Did you know that Joshua Trees only grow in the Mojave desert? One of my favorite pieces of Desert landscape are these beauties that swarm the Joshua Tree Highway. I perfect setting for a photo shoot or wedding ceremony. I love the never ending amount of land here where the trees meet the sky.
A sought after, mostly booked out, museum of Las Vegas Vintage signs where you can go just to take photos or get married. I highly recommend setting sights for a later in the day ceremony/shoot as in the summer this place is screaming hot. The most inspiring piece of this place is the La Concha building seen here.
Red Rock Canyon
As a National Park it would be a little more difficult to host a wedding here: we need permits. However, it definitely is doable. This backdrop is a beautiful area for a sunset or sunrise location. With a wide breath of a mountain range, gorgeous cactus, you have the home of the infamous Red Rock Canyon.
dry lake bed
Our most sought after spot! A serene backdrop of nothing but where the sky meets the desert. Keep in mind: this location is windy at times because there is nothing around to block the wind.
Adding props like beautiful vintage chairs, area rugs or tables is a great way o make this simple set up more amazing.
props & ideas
I can help with props: I actually would love to help design and collaborate (take charge?) on a wedding set up. You can have anything you like. What would you want to see, what colors are your favorite? Which location did you choose in order to make all of this happen?
Vintage car pick up
Get picked up in a vintage vehicle, you have some hot ones to choose from, and get driven to your location(s) desired while having a shoot using the vintage amazing prop!
Flowers and Officiating!
Victoria over at Flora Pop has a cute trailer, she also officiates and will travel wherever you want alongside flowers, cakes, and champagne!
