120 film Medium Format Elopement Portraits / Gabriel and Holly @ PublicUs

My Mamiya RZ67 is becoming one of my favorites in my collection of film and digital cameras. This little portrait session, 10 images, was my 3rd time using this beautiful piece of heaviness. The Mamiya isn't easy to run around with and having lifestyle photography as my main suit, it is a different beast in its self.

Using the tripod, and sometimes hand held, looking down at the image they appear backwards which makes it a fun thing to get used to when giving direction!

Gabriel and Holly had their reception at PublicUS, downtown Las Vegas, with her gorgeous Emerald green dress & her simple bouquet from Flora Pop where she sometimes officiates and makes bouquets herself! Holly is a local artist, with murals around the town, you can see her work here: http://www.hollyraevaughn.com

Rock'n Vegas Elopement Jared & Bonnie

A Las Vegas Neon Museum Elopement, again, but if you can see... they are all different depending on the love at hand. Everyones story is completely, utterly, their own & it almost alters the sky, seriously. Each day I get to photograph an elopement or wedding, it is uniquely never the same.

Jared and Bonnie flew in from Kansas! Their friends and family were there waiting for Bonnie's walk down the aisle with her dad. The officiant was a long time friend of Jared and Bonnie and he did such an amazing job. This day was HOT- the bride had cooling packs to put in her dress (smart!) We went to a bar to hang out, to cool off, and then headed to Fremont street with a bottle of Champagne.

Her dress was custom made to look like 1970's Cher, and by Jesus, she did just that! Her long black pony tail, her style & swag... I was so excited to share these images with you guys.

Neon Museum Elvis Elopement with artsy fartsy DTLV tour / Neil & Mel

Um, properly putting a WHOA on everything this elopement offered is not a proper enough term for my AAAHH on Mel's Dress, the adorable velvet jacket on Neil (Neil's stance) and all of the Elvis shaking, booty breaking dance moves... I am in LOVE with this elopement.

Mel and her uncle were hiding behind the signs (and her excitement was so adorable) before everyone could see her. With a faux aisle and a waiting husband to be alongside a dancing, singing, charismatic Elvis... honestly, swoon.

This day, by far, was a special and most magical elopement for me & I am SOOO honored they chose me to document their ceremony at the Neon Museum. We spent about 4 hours together and toured some Downtown street art, some random corner that looked special (?) and drank champagne before heading back to the Cosmopolitan for more drinks & some festive cheers with just the two of them and me, freaking out on the entire day of how much I loved everything about them.

Mel's Dress: Ian Stewart // Neil's Suit: Moss Brothers // Officiant: Frankie // Location: Neon Museum

Las Vegas Elopement Photography / Steve & Faye

Las Vegas Elopement photography has so many nooks and crannies, you can be in the city and never see the same thing twice. We have new murals in our downtown Fremont area, yay, and once the sun is down, its down, and the desert scene never duplicates itself again & that's the beauty of our city; the gorgeous thing about our desert skies is we have so much of it: sun and blue. Its a great thing to have because you can get away with making it look like we are somewhere else! Just as long as the location & light allow.

Steve and Faye traveled to the states to get married which they did so in City Hall in NYC. They traveled route 66 and found themselves in my neck of the woods needing some lifestyle shots done. ( & lucky me )

Finding me via IG, I am so glad she did, we met for two hours and had a beer, some laughs and memories they now have forever from their time in Viva Las Vegas.
